I had the privilege of being one of the leadership team at the Saudi ADHD Society who developed the multimodal support program for young Arabic-speaking people affected by ADHD in Saudi Arabia called “Aazir”.
At the beginning of the first lockdown for the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, we faced the challenge of adapting all the programs and services we offer to be able to deliver them safely online with minimal interruption.
I was able to do so successfully and in accordance with national standards for privacy and security.
My efforts were recognized this month when we received first place in a national mental health prize in the category of swift response in providing mental health services during the pandemic.
